Shriya Saran has taken to urging citizens to vote. “In India, only 50% of the people exercise their right to vote. There are people who say ‘My vote is not going to make a difference.’ This is not the right attitude. All of us have to exercise our right to vote if we want to see a stable government at the helm of the nation. If we start voting for able candidates, it will be a wake-up call for politicians to sit up and take action,” she says.
